How to avoid getting sleepy after getting high?

  1. I smoke about 2-3 times a week, and I hate that I end up getting sleepy after. Any tips to avoid getting sleepy? I've changed up my strains quite a bit already. 

     
  2. take a few shots of espresso to the dome after the come down kicks in
     
  3. If you keep yourself occupied and drink lots of water while you're at the peak, I tend to find that it helps fight the sleepiness when you're coming down. 
     
    If you're looking for keeping a high going though I'd just have another hit and you'll fight the come down that way too!
     
  4. Go play/ watch some fast paced games Sports/UFC/Video games . or go for a walk, im sure you won't fall asleep when walkin
     
  5. The true best way is to smoke a strain that doesn't have the sleepy side effects. I assume you smoke indica, so try a sativa if you don't like the sleepyness (cause I sure do, makes sleeping alot nicer)
     
  6. Something that always helps me is taking a really fast shower. When I say really fast, I mean you gotta challenge yourself to finish in like 1 minute. At the end of it, I'm so pumped with energy that I'm pretty much awake.
     
    It sounds pretty stupid, but it works.

  8. I like to stand up and walk around a bit. Maybe breathe in some fresh air or put water on my face.
     
    Worst thing I can do is sit or lie down. Hate it when its cold because that's all I want to do.
     
  9. Make sure your getting enough sleep and not staying up too late at night. You'll have more energy to spend being high AF
     
  10. I'd say drink a cup of coffee or two. Or you can try caffeine pills hehe.

    Well, if you smoke at night, you'll probably get tired around the same time you usually do.  If you're talking about during the day, you've just gotta stay high.  Itz teh only weigh.
     
  13. lol it's simple. Smoke less and buy a hybrid or sativa.
     
  14. have an energy drink after smoking or something.
     
  15. Drinking coffee helps a lot...
     
  16. Caffeine. Caffeine. Caffeine.
     
     
     
    Also, a good ol' cup o' of caffeine should help.
     
    Exercising will help considerably in the long term as well.
