How the fuck do mousepads ond laptops work?

    I was just isitting here eating celery (i eat alot of celery when im stoned:yummy: , and watchin shit on youtube (high as fuck) and i used a stalk ofe celery to move the pointer thingy, but when i tried using a pencil eraser it wouldnt move..... how the fuck do they work?> :bongin:

    You're finger can conduct electricity, a pencil eraser does not.

    the pad is like a touch screen, there are a bunch of little wires running vertically and horizontally across the area you are touching. Where your finger touches completes a circuit which tells the computer where your finger is.

    I love that the iphone has a light sensor on it. That's why when you put the phone to your face to talk the screen goes black and when you go to type on it it turns back on. (nevermind that it also has an accelerometer also)
