How the fork do you embed a youtube video

  1. The new Grasscity has obviously changed how you embed videos.
So how do you do it?  Have tried a number of things.  None with any success.

  2. don't use the link button. Just copy and paste the url directly into the comment space

  3. Didn't work..

  4. This just happened to be what was open in my browser at the moment haha

  5. I just did it but it worked haha.
If it turns blue then you need to figure out how to make it so that when you copy and paste links it doesn't automatically make it a hyperlink.

  6. Not sure if I don't know the magic hand shake or what...
But it simply does not work for me..

  8. Under the video click share. Then use that link

  9. I just copied and pasted the link over and it worked.
Quote my post and study what I did lol.

I literally went to the video, highlighted the url, hit Ctrl + C, came here and hit Ctrl + V and it worked.

Your link is turning into a hyperlink every time you try it. I am not quite sure what is causing that but it could be your browser? Check your settings to see if links are automatically turned into hyperlinks when copied or typed into a forum.

I use firefox, idk how the others handle this type of thing.

  11. Here is a single frame video. Since it's composed of only one frame it's very short. lol In fact, you don't even have to hit any Play button. Kool, huh.

  12. Only 1 time did it paste as a video.. All others immediately go to a blue link...

  13. Dude i told you already. Dont copy the link in the url bar. Copy the share link under the video. The one thats like yo.tube/ or whatever

  14. http://youtu.be/m1agaZinJHg

    link immediately turned blue...

  15. It works for me everytime I copy the URL so I think it has to do with the browser and settings.
If you hit quote on my post it will show you exactly what I typed to embed the video, which is literally just the URL copied and pasted.

    via firefox

  17. It is your browser settings most likely. If it automatically turns blue when you copy and paste it then it is not you messing up, it is something in your settings; could be browser settings, could be computer settings. Somewhere along the line something in your computer is telling it that every link you copy and paste is to be automatically hyper linked. You can stop it, just google how to do that.

I had the same problem for a while but now it works every time.
