How soon to start using cal-mag

    I'm using reverse osmosis water, seeds just popped 4 days old how soon should I use cal- mag

    I wouldn't add anything at all for at least another 2 weeks.

    But i believe cal-mag is just calcium and magnesium, why would you want that this early in a small seedling's life?

    Let it do it's thing. Sit back and watch :bongin:

    the reason is I usually have some sort of mag def. late in veg thought maybe its because i give it 0 ppm water for the first 3 weeks of its life

    Start 2 weeks after you start your veg nutes. Start at .5tsp per gallon for the first week or two.

    I always start it with my veg nutes 2 weeks in, everything half strength.

    Using ffof so tend to use later last 3to4 weeks of veg ( after 2week seedling period)

    calcium should only be added every few years. if the soil is too clumpy you need more calcium mixed in.

    Not enough info to answer the question. In my grow I don't use calmag at all. If you already know when you start seeing deficiencies, you already answered your own question.
