So, I am going to build a compact grow box and use a could cfls to begin with. But eventually will upgrade to a 250 watt HPS. So, considering ventalation will be good, how small of a grow box could I use a 250 watt HPS you think? Please help. I attempted the search button. But, really nothing that answers my question directly, hoping one of you can help!
im planning on using a 250HPS to start with and im gonna use it all the way though. my box is pretty small compared to most, the dimensions are 3ft Wide, 2ft deep, and 4ft high. Hope that helps
i constructed an area in my closet thats 4 ft high, 32 inches wide and 23 inches deep, and i have a 250W hps. works fine. you may have some temperature problems at first (that is if youre shooting for 78 degrees) but they are easy to work around.
