  1. I just got a hydrofarm 400 cfm inline for my grow lab tent that is 2'7x4'11x6'7. How should i set this fan up. I plan on using a 600 watt air cooled grow light. How would you guys set this fan up and what else should i get for my tent.

  2. Havent we already answered these questions for you???

    I know I have.

Buy ducting hook to fan,and light hood.Turn fan on when light goes on.Its not rockey science.

Please stop repeating the same questions.

  3. Im looking for a more specific answer. I already know you need ducting and a inline fan.

  4. are you running a charcoal filter?

The general idea is to pump air thru the hood (either push or pull thru, people argue both sides, shouldn't be a huge difference) and exhaust it out a top port.

you should have a hole in the bottom of the tent that it can pull fresh air in from (heat rises, cooler air is at the floor). If you can, try to get the fan to suck the air from the top of the tent to blow over the tube and out the vent, that's the warmest stuff you want to get rid of.

  5. I plan on getting a carbon filter when the plants start approaching flowering.

  6. ok... you probably want to keep your charcoal filter "after" the hood instead of "before", sometimes it can get a little dusty, possibly gum up the fan too

I'd go fan (pulling from up high) to the hood to the outside, and mount the filter to the vent just outside the tent
