how often can i safely take xanax?

    im in the mood of a xany now and havent taken one at least a week or three but im wondering if its safe to take one every few weeks?

    dont wanna ever have to go thru withdrawal so im wondering how often you can take them?:eek:

    yes every few weeks is fine. Thats what i do. I use to take a lot of it everyday and when i stopped lets just say i had an almost life threatening seizure. So be REAL careful.

    Yep every few weeks is okay but once your on the daily the withdrawls can be deadly!

    I've taken them for like a week straight, and I did not experience any ill effects.

    same thing happened to me, I had a seizure and had to get rushed to the hospital because of xanax withdrawal. Respect it and take it moderately.
