how noticable are Hermi's

If a plants a hermi does it stand out like a male or no. i have one plant that is growing taller, faster then the other two but its buds are not getting all that big. I just noticed a couple small "ball like" things in a few spots on the plant. They are not cluster like what i saw on the males that I had. They have been flowering for almost 4 weeks now. I am going to the store to get batt. for my camera and will post pics as soon as I get back.

 

I couldn't get any good pics showing what I am talking about but I don't think its a hermi. But still I don't understand why its growing so much taller then the other two and the buds are not growing as fast as the other two.

I should mention that this is my first grow and of course I have made a few mistakes. The plants were in the attic of my apt. for 2 months while in veg. It was a nice spot except for the last two weeks that they were up there. It was in the 100's everyday which made it 110 or hotter up there. Then when I was moving to my new house I had to close it up so that my parents and aunt would not find them so it got even hotter up there. This is why the leaves are brown and could explain some of the problems. They have been in my closet now for about 2 weeks.

 

I have noticed a difference in the size of the buds on the taller one since yesterday but still don't think it is where it should be. Will they all of a sudden just take off?
