it is a good price. DIY would cost that for sure. Only problem with those things is they dont give you a large enough pump. I recommend adding another pump to that system with an airstone.
Well Check how much you can get a dual output air pump from a petstore for In canada can get a whisper 60 fo r 10$ the net pots would be about .75 cents each air line 2$ hydroton 4$ and then rubbermaid container probably about 9$ so if you were in ontario I would say I could build it for about 20$ with some creative shoping only buying the cheapest but ,It would probably be better off to get a larger air pump like a 4 output for 250gal tank 35$ 5"pots 1.50ea way bigger rubermaid container like 15gal so about 18-20$ there so a larger one say 24" x 24" with say 4 pots would be better for bud as you would have more room but cost would prolly be around 50$ or so.
