how much water weight will they lose?

  1. Does anyone know about how weight the nugs will lose at the end of the drying process? 50%? I think i remember reading 80% but i'm not sure. I'm trying to figure out how much bud i'll have after the harvest this year. Any information would be helpful, thanks!
  2. too many factors.. but things to consider: how dense your nugs are - how thick the stem is - last time you watered before pulling.. water weight is usually over 60% weight and more so if your growin hydro

ive heard of some people who stop watering the last week so they can cure faster, just a thought though if you havent harvested
  3. ive harvested twice, and both times i was really close to 75% loss
  4. ya dude be prepared to loose more then half....i had a small outdoor plant that was 1.5ft tall when 49grams wet...dry i got 17 lol
  5. I always think "from a grape to a raisin." seems to be the case sadly.

  6. Ditto....there is no way to say with any accuracy.
  7. You can estimate about 20% of the wet weight and get pretty close, it definitely does vary but it generally stays within about 15-30% of what it weighed wet so I generally just estimate right in the middle.
