HOW MUCH WATER TO PUT IN A HONEYCOMB BONG?

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by TheRealDaWood22, Feb 7, 2014.

  1. Hey guys, so this is my first post on pretty much any forum ever so hopefully its posted in the right place to answer this question. I have been smoking for a long time, but I just reciently bought a new bong. Its a Legacy single honeycomb perc and is my first honeycomb. How much water should I be putting in it to use the perc as it should be used?

    Thanks for the help

  2. I just usually the water right underneath the perc, it's usually stacks pretty good bubbles at that level. But keep the bong flat to get the most use of the perc. (All personal preference.)

  3. ^ What he said, keeping the bong flat on a surface gets more use out of the percs than if you were to tilt it or anything.

  4. you are gonna have to go buy some measuring tools and add 63mL of water into...

Just give it a few test rips I am sure you can figure it out. :)

  5. well, in my double honeycomb I put the water about 1/4 inch below the first perc, if i have ice in the bong i'll put it just a little bit lower that way when the ice melts it doesn't flood too much. the best part about honeycomb percs is that when you stack enough bubbles on them, the water doesn't always go back through the perc. you'll get pockets of water that sit on top of your percs since the surface tension is too strong to let the water fall back through the holes. i normally let both my percs stack water on top of them, and then i wind up having a 3-chamber bong lol. you can drain the water off the perc's by tilting the bong, so that the surface tension breaks on the holes and falls through. remember too, if you have too much water and you start stacking water on your percs, the water level will start to raise in the joint as well, and you may get your bowl wet. Suction is weird, lol.

  6. we should sticky a thread saying water levels is all preferance, there is no "right" wway of doing it.

  7. justt gotta mes with them a little, thats the fun part about water levels, all the test bowls! honeycombs dont usually need a lot of water, but for maximum efficiency that tube must be up straight, not tipped back like a beaker.
