Its a custom SYN, work by fat mike himself. Has a 12 tree fixed downstem, with two slits in each stem. Also has a matching fat mike worked/layered slide with a handle that also has work on it. The work in the middle of the tube is also double layered Wondering about how much someone would pay for something like this. One of a kind.
i don't know a whole lot about fat mike just the syn prodo line but the 12 arm is a $600+ bong and with work like that, i'd guess $1,200 in a headshop
Well Fat Mike was the original owner of SYN, its now owned by others. He still does blow glass, but this was blown before the business was given up by him. Has a white mouth piece, and a white base which might not be able to be seen in the pics. Also, dont know if it matters, just extra work.. On the backside of the tube in the middle section, it also has 2 more swirls like the ones seen on the front.
if it aint broke...dont replace it . still rockin the ipod video(30gb) i would drop $400 if it was for sale..just throw it up on boromarket see what kind of offers you get.
Thanks yall. I wonder if she will appreciate in value over the years if it stays in one piece. Considering fat mike may never crank out another piece like this. It was originally bought for $500 flat with a free pair of iPhone scales. Also had a El hefe teardrop worked slide then as well ( R.I.P BABY )

^ I was thinking the same thing. But only in the true glass blowers mind can those things be thought of and created. They have so many different types of "stems/diffusors" lets call them, to put into a bong to make it smoke differently. I can barely imagine what a tube will look like in 5-10 years, and how it would function. Compared to the first Tobacco Master that came out until the straight tubes now, they pretty much work the same. Sooo who knows.
^Yeah I am not sure myself even but you know what im getting at, who wants a circ/circ toro when 2011bc is now pumping out stemline/circs for the same price? Similar rules apply in MY mind, because someone wont want to pay more for less down the road essentially, and glass costs a bit less function wise than it used to unless I am mistaken
2011bc is pumping out some QUALITY shit bro. Ive seen a couple tubes and bubblers at my headshop and they are on point. Flush joints and shit, perfectly straight everything. They know what a smoker stares at when they are blazed. My next purchase after this will be something again with a fixed joint/downstem. They make cleaning and changing your water so much quicker and easier. Thats one thing that these high end glass blowers have kind of stuck to ive seen. a fixed downstem of some kind, maybe its a movement.

Spot on bruv, my next piece is going to be a killer, either a 75 x 5mm king stemline mini, a toro micro if I can find a tree based one or something other than circ, or of course something from 2011BC because even the ashcatchers make a worthy entire setup in my opinion. Some of us just know good glass when we see it, but to be honest it might be wiser to keep your lips tight about this one atm
