  2. price listed is $275, but im such a frequent costumer they give me 15% off automatically without having to haggle which puts it at $230. Also im a professional photographer/videographer (these pictures werent taken by me) and im gonna try to talk to him about making an online album of all of his bongs for the price of the bubbler.

  3. bumping, still looking for more opinions on whether to pick it up or not.

  4. anyone ever heard of olympic glass?

  5. $250 just because I like the design so much

  6. yeah i like it quite a bit too. Also i think the logo looks really classy lol

  7. Personally I think even $175 would be pushing it for that piece... it's just too small/simple... there's really nothing to it that makes it worth that much. That's imo in comparison to other pieces you can get in that price range at least.

  8. I like that style a lot. hard to tell the size, but prob $200 tops. you could find something nicer if its any more than that.

  9. 200-250 would be normal.

Tell them to clean it first though, that thing has been handled like 1000x times you can tell, never cleaned.

  10. like what? i was trying to tell how many slits and grids were in that baby and i couldnt tell. The 2011bc bubbler is $250 online and this is in a local head shop. Its a stemline as apposed to a shower head perc. It has a nice ice pinch bowl just like the 2011bc. i just wish i knew how many grids it had.

  11. i wish i could smoke from it before i had to make a decision on whether to buy it or not

I believe that has 5 or 6 slits and 5 or 6 grids, so 25-36 points of diffusion....The design is basically a bent neck stemline, but the build quality and the perk itself aren't as good, Id say probably around 200-250 would be fair, being about 2/3 the price of the tube they seem to be copying. I could see that going for between 150 and 300 though, depending on the glass thickness.

And yeah, being able to take a hit would be helpful, but if I were you I would watch some vids online of the stemline (Which you probably already have) and see how that diffuses and functions, and then ask them to let you do a quick watertest on it. Maybe have a friend come along so you can watch how the perk functions. If it works well and lots of the slits fire then It could give a great hit at a good price, if only a few work then its not really better than just a diffused downstem. Also, be sure not to let them put a ton of water in it..some shops really overfill tubes and you can't get any idea of how they hit.

Edit: and..if its not so great I'd save for a real stemline if you can, but its definitely worth a shot to really check it out.

Edit again, I just noticed how small it is. I could still see up to 250 if its great, but probably in the 175-225 range would be fair for that size...however, if you like those short tubes a great alternative in that range would be GMD/GWO's mini tubes, or possibly the fullsize, but I don't know the prices on those yet.

  13. mada to the rescue again! thanks for the insight man, it was exactly what i was thinking and needed to hear.

I think that i could get the piece and a nice extra heady bowl for maybe $250 total. I would be willing to pay that if most of the holes fire. if not then i think it would be a waste.

I was looking at this piece because my gf said she would get me an sg stemline for birthday/christmas, BUT i would have to wait till christmas, and she doesnt feel comfortable buying online... so that kinda rules out any chance of actually getting an sg stemline.

ive been looking for something comperable at local head shops but there really isnt anything comperable to an sg stemline (certainly not for the price, and even more so not in any of my local head shops).

  14. to me it doesnt seem like the glass is that thick, and it has a super fat hole at the end of the stemline which you would think might restrict airflow of the other diffuser slits, but idk im no expert, it's easy enough to take a video of it diffusion, then you would know

  15. where can you find GMD/GWO stuff?

  16. it looks like a super fat hole in the picture but thats just because of the reflection, there is actually no hole on the end of the stemline.

  17. I just picked up a SG Mini and that looks like this...

^my SG, the piece you have looks like a mimicked SG mini..
For the price of the work you would do post process on glass photos to have them all useable its worth an SG Stemline!
I do freelance graphics/photo if it maters...
