hey guys, awhile ago i threw some seeds in a pot and stuck em by the window. they have started to bud and have lots of pistols but the leaves are starting to die from the lack of sun and probably the cold. the pistols on one plant are turning red (veerrryy slowly) but the other one looks like it needs more time. i have an OTT-LITE natural light supplement tube but thats all. should i start using that or should i just harvest soon? and if i use the light how many hours? thanks
i don't know anything about the specific tube you are planning on using, but switching to some artificial light sounds like a good idea. also, you might want to take them out of the window because they might be getting too cold there at night
I'd just let em keep going (does look like a bust though). Just try to position throughout the day to get as much light as possible and keep em warm. Don't move em to a flouro tube, that will ruin them. If they're used to sunlight, they need to continue to get it throughout the remainder of their cycle.

not always true. you can switch to artificial light anytime you want. a lot of people start their plants outside and bring them indoors under artificial light and finish them there
Dude dot cut it of too soon cuz its not gonna be potent enough. Wait it out. Ive grown some very nice plants on my sunny balcony and it is going to be good bud just like grown under a light. Yours look very good BTW. You just have to wait a little bit longer. A good idea would be to get them to a sunnier window.
dont cut it down, put it in a different window if u can, or at least put it in a window where no one can see it. Even though it looks like the plant isnt getting light from the sun through the window, if you can clearly see the plant in the sunlight, its good enough light. If you want the truth I've been flowering a really nice bush in my window the last 2 weeks because its been cold, and might I tell you the bud is a l ot stinkier, bigger and more potent than it was two weeks ago - when I took it inside and started giving it bad lighting through a window
I hope those plants are not visable, I.E that is like your front window. Anyhow, YES get lights on them and flower them/
you should go to wal mart and buy a flourescent light thy have a four foot t-5 or t-8 for like 10 bucks you would just have to buy bulbs and they are like 6 dolars.
i think i have a little more sense than to put a marijuana plant in my front window. but it is the only window that gets some sun. i got the lights though seems like everything is going fine for my plants...they're not dying
