Hey I recently started dabbing and I got a TI domeless nail that I have been using.

I have a small Bernzomatic torch I have been using to heat up one spot on the nail till its a bit red and then dabbing there.

However when I looked at some videos and pics, I see big torches heating it up until the whole thing is red.

Am I doing it wrong? is there a certain amount of heat you need to apply?

I am also thinking not using enough heat is why there is alot of sticky 'reclaim' all in the bottom of the nail....

  2. I normally wait until everything is red but not too red.

  3. I heat my nail until one side just barely begins to turn red, then let it cool until the red has entirely disappeared and dab on the opposite side from where I heated it. I hear its recommended to never heat your nail up red hot as getting it that hot can decrease its lifespan.

  5. That's sounds good then, I don't see why people heat if up so much, I've head the same things, heat it till it's barely red then dab
