how many

  1. how many plants could i fit in a cab thats 6ft high x 4ft wide x 3ft deep with a 450hps?

  2. You will find if you read here that 1 plant per sq ft is the general rule...
People tend not to answer obvious questions...

    Hope that helps...good luck

  3. Its not that obvious, its 1 per square only if your growing Sea of Green, under other growing techniques it can be as low as 1 per meter. So what is really need to answer this question is Mckinsey's planned grow method.

  4. Correct, depends on method...

You can still do the 12 if you dont plan on fimming/topping/lst as they will grow straight upwards towards the light as HPS does not really promote branching all that well compared to MH.

  5. 12 under a 450 HPS woudl be pushing it tho... id stick to 6-8 to give them plenty of room.

id even go with 5 and do some nice lst because after the foot and a half to 2 feet for the light to the tops, and the 8-12 inches for pots, you are down to 3 - 3.5 feet of plants. that is unless youve got a cool tube for them.

the reason i say that is because your plants will double at least in height during flowering and could lead to some charring of the tops if you arent careful
