How many X magnified to see trichomes

    Ive heard X100 and x175 but I what is the minimum or suggested amount of X magnified?

    Ive heard 25x, but with my camera on macro and zoomed between 6x and 12x I can see them. Just had to snap quite a few until I hit them in focus good enough to see the color...

    Thanks for the info...Im not into flowering yet but once Im there Ill be searching for all the digital cameras in the house now :)

    I use a 21mm 30x loupe.

    They work very well and they are only about $4.00 on Amazon.

    Many folks on here use the small illuminated microscope from Radio Shack. It's 60x-100x, costs a little over $12 and works incredibly well. I just picked one up last week and am very happy with it.
