    How many tablespoons or cups of kelp meal for 6 us gallon pots roughly? Using coco

    1 cup.
    If it was soil I'd say add a 1 pound coffee can full of Chicken manure as well.

    Also what is it that the coffee and chicken manure does for the plant?

    Many of us still have a coffee can or 2 around that we use for measuring out or digging holes with. It's just a handy size. AKA 16 ounce = one dry pound. The manure supplies both composted yard litter and high N manure. It's what I recharge my organic yard sites with a couple of times a year.

    Just bought s bag at HD as I have seen you mention it a number of times . Could I top dress with it occasionally ? I have soil mixed last year in 4 x 20 gallon pots and 4 x 10 gallons
    Looked like a good thing to have around
