How many seeds should I plant

    Hi there - I have 13 seeds (got an extra one) of M/F mix - I wanted to do 3 indoor and 2-3 outdoor so I was wondering how many I should start now to achieve both #s - I wasn’t planning on starting outdoor ones till Feb/March - I know they say 50% will be useable but if I do 6 and they happen to be the 6 Fs then can I keep a slow grow on some ? Thanks

    Depends on your grow space indoor. If your doing outdoor later you can use clones of your indoor for that.

    I’d do a few extra. That way if you get runt, or they all don’t grow you’re covered.

    I would hesitate to encourage a new grower to make/use clones. It has been my experience that clones are a b**** to get rooted unless you have the right environment patience and knowledge. He'd be better off with seeds. Respectfully

    I plan on a 4x5 but the light will be limiter - the one I have draws about 4.1A so I’m guessing 300-400 watts of light

    Nice, id start like 8 since they regular seeds. A 4x5 should give you room for 3 or 4 decent plants.

    Cloning is super easy. Buy cloning hormones, rapid rooters (in tray, if you don’t have trays) humidity bubble and a heat mat. You need minimal light. Key is to not allow rapid rooter to dry out and to keep humidity high. People make it harder then it needs to be. However patients is very important.
