How many plants for a 250w MH?

    How many plants can I grow with my 250w MH light? I have good airflow and a 250w HPS for flowering. Currently growing 3, the more the merrier though!

    I think 3-4 plants is alright. Plus CFLs as seondary lights which never hurts ;o

    Depends on your space too

    A 250 covers about a 3'x3' area so as much plants as you can get in that area. Unless your grow space is smaller than 3x3

    Your MH is for vegging, when plants are smaller and need less light, so if you have a lot of seeds, plant them all. You can grow probably 25-30 seedlings and then get all gregor mendel and choose the strongest four plants after three or four weeks.

    I'd say 5 would be the most. Unless you want a bunch of tiny plants in there. I believe in growing a few plants, but growing them to their full potential. Either way good luck.

    Beefy, I agree this is my first grow so I'm looking to grow some monsters!

    Alaquid, solid idea will definitely look into that since I have many seeds.

    you want roughly 100w per pant.. so 2.5 plants my good sir!
