Ive done 10 plants under a 1k and Ive done 100clones under a 1k... The question is how much weight can you pull from a 1k (grams per watt) gpw... Essentially, a first time grower can expect about a lb from a 1k, but 1-2 is respectable.. Holler if you need help..
Can i seed 30-40 seedlings under 400w hps and how far should they be from the light. The closet has no ventilation, i can put some fans blowing on the lamp or the plants, but not much more...
Yes, I use solo cups extensively in my grows... lol Fill em up, and jam em together for the time being, shit, I even use little plastic mouthwash cups when I clone filled with coco.. simple shit.. Always cut drainage holes with scissors on the bottom.. 400w doesnt need to be ANY higher than a 1.5ft, its not that bad on heat.. but still.. You want temps to be 78F at all times, this is a rudimentary facet of growing environments.. Outside 78f and your plant suffers in one way or another, so keep it close. Too hot, transpiration increases and plants lose water to fast.. Too cool, Transpiration decreases and plants can burn, or slow in growth..
