How many of you guys have to chill your reservoir temps?

  1. I'm right now growing in a small attic space, and I had my res temps down to 59 before I caught it. I was using a refrigerator to circulate water through, to cool it on warm days. Now that it's cooling down, my res seems to stay around 67-70 ish.

Those temps are good for me, but how many of you guys don't do anything with res temps and they stay in a decent range?

  2. I use frozen 2 liter bottles . I just hate having to replace them every few hours :(

Need to find a better way to keep my temps down.

  3. I use A/C in the veg and flower room, I try to keep the temps at canopy level between 75 and 80F, the buckets are on a concrete floor and the res temps range from 64 to 71F. I could not grow in my area with out the dedicated A/C units. It was a lot cheaper to install A/C for me than chillers for all my systems.

  4. Go grab a mini fridge and put a reservoir in it. Then just a small aquarium pump to exchange the water. It works really nicely. The refrigerators are cheap, and they cost under 50 bucks to run for a whole year.

I'm unsure if my system will need it or not. Right now, my temps are not exactly out of control, but they vary quite a bit with this weather. At least I know I have what I need to bring the temps down if I need too!

Thanks for the replies, my curiosity is now curbed... a little.
