Hi if i wanted to grow 6 plants in a walk in closet, aprox 5 foot by 3 foot, how many 4 foot fluorescent ballasts would i need? right now i have 4 t12 ballasts each with 2 four foot 45 watt bulbs. so 8 bulbs total, 4 day light, 4 cool white. is this enough? do i have the right bulbs i need.
well i think u got it that will be fine for 6 plants .. dont forget the ventilation cuz 8 bulbs can easly put your growroom hot ventilation is allways need it GOod Luck!
The rule of thumb is 100w minimum for first plant and 50w for each additional. There is never too much light. Just watch out for the heat an keep your lights as close to the plant as possible. GL man
