I have 10 feminized seeds but will only be growing 2 plants at this time. From what I understand fem seeds have a over 90% chance of becoming a female plant. Is this correct ? Would you feel comfortable with just germinating 2 fem seeds for a 2 plant grow ? Input from the pros would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Eric
If you only want to grow 2 plants then id only germ 2 seeds. Depending on where you got the seeds, they should all be ladys. Although ive heard of people getting so called "femmed" seeds to come out with more males than females, or a high ratio of hermies. But if you only want to do 2 plants then yeah 2 seeds...
Budzilla is absolutely correct on The probability that they will be mostly females. However, don't forget Germination rate. I would do 3 or 4 just to be sure you'll have at least 2 that sprouted. And if they all happen to sprout then throw them all in rockwool or whatever, and after a week pick the best lookin 2.
