At the moment im using 4-23w=100w cfl’s.
How many more bulbs would i need to fully take advantage of this space.

Im only trying to grow 2/3 plants ONLY

    Thanks in advance Growers!

  2. 3-4 bulbs of 23w cfl warm white and the odd cool white per plant

    does veg growth ok

but for flowering you will need some grunt

a 250w HPS tho hotter than the larger hps is still a cheap but grunty option

    good luck

  3. Picked up these 4 (only 3 in the pic) led 2700k bulbs for flowering.. will these do the job?? (pic below)

  4. if you want to keep using low wattage light you should try with one plant for the 4 lights but you need those lights as close to the plant as you can.
I would only use automatics and flower under 20 hours of light.
I have seen people get 50 grams of one plant this way.
(and I think it was with only 80 watts in total)
the led works the same but don't give heat....what is good in the summer but at winter it might need more heat.
    good luck....

  5. they will of you snap that crappy lid of the lens

and down to 1-2 inches from the top most leaf

with fan and temp gauge close by

    good luck

  6. Lights are pretty close.. with a fan near by to simulate the wind blowing and i have a temp and humidity guage.

  7. I think
I think the tops to my led bulbs are glass and not plastic like others are

  8. I used 21 of those 23W bulbs in a 2.5 x 2.5 tent. Worked pretty well, but produced a ton of heat -- enough to stress them out. Got a 6 oz harvest though so I was happy, but too much effort. Switched over to qb304 boards now.

  9. Regardless of light source.

    That's a HUGE 77w Sq/ft with 21 of the 23w in a 6.25 sq/ft area.:love::love::eek2::eek2::jump::jump:

I was going to say to try and get 50w Sq/ft minimum regardless of source.

The Sun at the Equator is over 10,000w Sq/ft. Closer to 12,000.

But 77w Sq/ft will grow any strain. 1000w Hortilux HPS is around 62w Sq/ft and is my basic setup.

  10. Did u switch to 2700k during flowering??
Im only useing 4 so far of the 23w=100w cfl’s.
And i have a fan that blows at the plants & lights all day basically but i do turn the fan off at nigh time. (Also keeps the bulbs super cool “no heat”)

I have a heat lamp just for heat (not light energy) that i leave on 24/7 with my home made humidifier i think its a pretty good enviorment in their for her.. ill be receiving my temp/humidity guage/meter via mail tomorrow so ill be sure their on after

Over night no fan still with the heat lamp.. in the morning it still feels fine in their.. but again.. tomorrow on ill be in the know for sure

  17. Cfls will work for the 1st 3 weeks then switch to a real light so you get at least an ounce off that plant.
