How many actually care about cannabis legalization?

Yeah, well the recreational market would expand exponentially, so whatever strains you think you have access to would multiply. The current cannabis market is hardly a fraction of what it will be.

Besides, you don't have to legalize it for yourself. How about the people who actually need medicine from sustainable sources? Parents of kids who have epilepsy can't have a consistent source because the feds will always rain down on the medical dispensaries as long as its not fully legal.

How about paper? You use paper don't you? 25 million trees are cut every year for paper, when we could grow an annual plants instead of destroying trees that have been growing for years, whether it be 50 years or 1,000 years old.

You gotta take the blinders off and take perspective of the world. It doesn't do much to think for only yourself.

Yes we covered supply & demand already, but you have no basis for how long it'll take. It'll take as long as it takes for stores to open, which could be 2 years or far less.

2. Personally, one of the reasons why I don't care right now is because I'm not necessarily in a position to be proactive about it. First of all, I live a world away from CA, in Long Island, NY. NY's having it's own debacle over medical legalization. Here's my take on the legalization situation; can the medical crap. I mean yes, it does help people with their ailments, that's not the problem. I think the problem is that we don't just aim for full scale legalization (yes, I know this is more difficult, but because I'm not someone who has an ailment I need/want to use weed to treat, I'm only worried about recreational legalization.) and that the people who are out there speaking for weed can sometimes cause more backlash than harm. I remember the Dr. Oz episode about medical cannabis, with Montel Williams as a guest advocating for it. Well, his performance on the show and the amount of logical fallacies that he and other weed advocates use in the public eye is why I think so many people don't care. Sometimes the people standing up for weed make us look worse, let's just face it.

Then there's the issue of money. My money. I want more weed for less. That's my economic prerogative. I've heard a lot of complaints about sky-high prices in dispensaries, and legal or not, I'm going to go to wherever I can get more good weed for less from.
Uhh...no. Supply & Demand would not be level for a couple of years.
First, show me what educational background you have to support this claim. I love those with a solid business or statistics degree. Then, recognize my potent sarcasm. Finally, re-read my previous post and tell me in what part of it I give my estimation any sort of time frame. All I said was the more on board, the better the prices. My post examines a correlation between legal standing to price, not supply & demand to price. No hard feelings though, blade-bruh. Keep on tokin'!

4. Works for me. Now I don't have to grow and have a big stash laying around. I wound up hating that whole deal, even after it became legal.

Just head on down to the local shop, scarf up an 8th when I need it. Makes life simpler.

5. As long as I don't get arrested for hold a zip I don't care if it's legal or not.

6. Welcome to ca my friend.

Legal or not, some employers can and WILL test for it. There are currently employers now that test for nicotine and will not give you a job if you smoke cigarettes. Ex: Hollywood Casino

8. Well, the initiative clearly states this can't be the case, but we won't know how it plays out until it's all going down after legalization.

9. I heard that through the black market they get it so cheap and so easily that they don't want legalization because of the taxesYou know that it would be untrue, you know that I would be a liar, if I was to say to you, girl we couldn't get much higher

10. the whole systems a joke. "medical" pot sells for the same price as "street" pot. but it is safer than dealing with cartels and ultra violent pot dealers  . ive got a cartel growing in my basement come get some LOL

but really alcohol is fucked up and public drunks are not wassup. i dont drink (much) but i am not banning bars and distilleries from my town.

i think cali is cool for being the first to show that pot dealers are "Compassionate Care Clubs" and who can fuck wit that :gc_rocks:

11. It's a good way to stick it to the man, get consistent prices, and fun to talk about when stoned, but myself and many others are going to smoke it regardless of the legality.

At this point it's inevitable, so spark up a  doob and wait patiently.
