How long will a hot-boxed Truck smell?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Notodrugstakethe_HIGH_road, Jan 25, 2014.

  1. Hello Fellow tokers, My parents are out of town till Wednesday(5 days)

My grandparents are "babysitting" me, and my three sisters, 1 older, 2 younger. So I will not be able to smoke in the house.

My dad has an F-150 sitting in the driveway, If I hotboxed it, and left a window open for a night and day, is there any chance it would smell when he gets back?

We have one of those car fresheners in it, I would just like to sit in it, smoke a couple of joints and listen to the radio, after about an hour, I would open up a window, there is a VERY SMALL chance that somebody else would open it the next morning, but there is no chance at all that someone would drive it, so should I turn on the air circulation/heater? So there has to be no distinct smell without turning on the engine by the next morning, and no smell at all in a few days, is it safe to smoke in there without being detected by the methods I just listed?

Thank you, It's exam week and I would rather smoke in a warm place than outside, Seeing as I live in Canada.

  2. I have this strange feeling you aren't 18+...

  3. From my limited experience with smoking in cars, the stank will lasts for a good couple of hours with no circulation. So I would say that if you smoked up in the car until the night before they got back and circulate the air like you said, it should not smell the next day.

  4. Smoke outside man. Or in your room/bathroomSent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

  5. I smoke inside my van also. It's too fucken cold to smoke outside. And when it's not that cold. It's fucken windy. If it's not one thing it's another. So yea hotbox it. But when ur finished. Open all the doors and air it out for about 3-5 minutes. Then leave all the windows down and leave it like that for the rest of the night. Or 3 hours.

  7. Don't do it OP. It will last forever, and Cannabis smoke voids Ford's warranty.

  8.
I told you I live in Canada, It's freezing up here, and My house airs from room to room, it's just the way it's built, not through the vents, but it's just the way the air circulates, also my grandparents are light sleepers, they wake up multiple times a night to go to the bathroom, so they would smell it

  9. It's a model 99, last thing I'm worried about is warranty on a truck that has had multiple engine rebuilds, a different rear end, and is running NOS, The warranty is not my top concern... But thank you for your concern :D

  10. Me and my friends hot boxed a Mercedes and i went back in it 2 days later and the smell was gone.

  11. I wonder where that comes from? [Sarcastic voice]

Well My age, by the way 18+ is not being disputed, even though I am above legal levels, almost everybody in my household is against the usage of marijuana.

  12. i always used to leave a good 24 hours to air out my bedroom when the rents went away, worked fine.

  13. Which is ironic... Because if you played hockey and beat people into comas you'd probably be the pride of the family. LOL

  14. the smell never really goes away to someone that doesnt smoke sorry bro

  15. Toke away OP. Just air it out. Smell don't last long in the cold.. Less than a few hours.

  16. I would say just smoke outside. I am from New York (Watertown) to be more exact and can't smoke in my apartment so I have literally gone into our apartment parking area (which is literally a tiny area for four vehicles) and hotboxed in a car that's not even on and COVERED in snow. A few hits outside and you won't have to worry about any smell lingering around and it will be worth those few minutes of being a little cold. Just bundle up before hand.

  17. Lol...kid don't toke up in your dads truck. You're going to get caught. Smoke outside manSent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
