but it completely depends on how often you smoke

 

I say about you go through your second ounce and tried at least 3 different strains and can tell the difference between mids, rags when dry and good weed by either sight/smell and if you're a seasoned smoker, you'll be able to taste/smell good weed vs. bad weed when smoking it. But this is all purely subjective. I compare the smelling of GOOD burning pot to sniffing pepper because it seems to sting the same places in the nose but does not smell quite necessarily the same. Just seems like a stingy/spiky smell in the smoke of good weed. Once you can tell the difference between rags burning and good shit you're pretty seasoned imo.

 

When smoking stops becoming an event.
When being high just becomes another emotion.

When you smoke a couple of times a day and you can tell different grades of weed from each other.

When you own more than just your first piece.

When you can roll functional and aesthetically pleasing joints/blunts.

When you don't feel like you have to prove that you aren't a novice.

 

When you're knowledge about everything involving weed and smoking and getting high is supreme.

 

It could be eventful from time to time heheh but otherwise its mostly a routine.

 

id say until u know wat ur talking about thats usually about a year or two but some people will never learn

when its not just a special occasion, but more of a healthy hobby. and when you can smoke with people you don't know and they can tell you know your shit

 

being able to tell between shwag, mids, beasters, fire
being pretty accurate on how much the nugs weigh
know how to roll joints and blunts

You will know when your not.

Its that simple. Being able to handle the herb. Understand how much your body can handle and shit like that. being able to eyeble certain amounts of bud. Shit like that.

 

When you decide you would rather spend your paycheck on some herb and a new piece rather than pay your cell phone bill

 

This is extremely insightful. I found a good friend who knows A LOT about all things counter-culture and basically just hung out around him and his friends always listening and asking questions when I really didn't understand something. I also highly recommend that anyone and everyone interested in trying ANY substance should research said substance extensively before they use it.

CAN HANDLE YOUR SHIT IN PUBLIC- thats a big one
Are competent in making bongs, homemade pipes etc
That you don't see marijuana as just a occasional thing to get high (like drinking), but more of a enhancement of your life.
