How long to keep lights on sprouts

    I'm getting ready to plant some seeds..when some sprouts begin, how long should I keep the lights on them? 24/7??

    and when do I change the light setting?? just a few questions

    After you plant the seeds put the fluoros on them 24/7. After they sprout and start showing true leaves, ratheer than the seed leaves, cut back to 18/6. After a couple to few weeks of veg growth, cut back to 12/12.

    You mean.. once they start to show thier tru leaves at last, you cut the light down to 18 hours nd 6 hours of dark? does this make it grow much faster? Becouse right now my plant has a set of 10 leaves on top of it, and i've been keepin the lights on 24/7. hould i cut it down to 18/6?

    it gives the plant a chance to rest and keep stress free. But if it works OK now then do what you want.
