I have two in soil I saw a very small taproot using paper towels,but they have sitting for over a week are they dead?I'm using schultz organic soil,and have clingwrap over the pots to keep mositure in.
Probably dead. Next time start your seeds in wet paper towels place the towls in baggies and place them under a heat mat on low and only plant the ones with a taproot. Give them three or four days to make the taproot if they don't then they're dead seeds. When putting them in pots place the taproots down in a 1/2" hole, lightly cover them with soil then water. Put plastic wrap on top of the pots and make sure the top layer of soil doesn't dry out.Hope this helps for next time. Don't give up it takes time to be a pro.
