I have a plant that I started from seed. It's growing in a Hydro bucket and it is AMAZING! It's been growing for about two to three months and I started it on a 12/12 light cycle this week. Q: How long will it take until I begin to see buds?
Once you've made the flip into 12/12 it takes roughly 2 weeks until you see pistil formation(white hairs) You've already got what is known as pre-flower at the top cola. Nice looking plant.... However, it seems you might be over feeding. It may be the lighting, but it seems like the lower fan leaves are hard/crispy to the touch? I did this on my first grow, (many growers do) too much nitrogen , can cause what is known as nutrient "lockout" But the top looks great, so what the hell do I know? ...lol Thanks for sharing. **tip** You might look into "Super Cropping" "Topping" (I personally like the FIM technique) and LST (lLow Stress Training) With utilizing these grow techniques, those plants would be substantially bigger. Thanks for the tips. The lowest fan leaves have become stiff to the touch. The upper fan leaves are feathery though. I just figured that the lower ones had done their work and were playing out. I bought this light off Amazon for a hundred bucks and it has mad all the difference for my plants. I'm extremely happy with it and plan on buying another one in the near future. Can't wait for the bud! I'll post more pics along the way.
New Pictures. My buds are developing white hairs. I'm thinking about draining the "Nutrient" water out of the bucket and filling it with Spring water or Distilled water. What do you think?
