How long should it be good?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by eagleboy, Oct 18, 2012.

  1. How long should weed be "good" if kept in an air tight container?

  2. I've kept in a jar for a few months before. It gets a bit dry but no noticeable loss in potency.

  3. Depends on the container, the Mason Jars work wonders, it can last months in there. But just about anything else, probably around a month or less before it starts to get really dry and crumbly. Also make sure it's kept in the dark.

  4. If it's airtight, I'd assume you could keep it as long as you want.

  5. I can't imagine someone smoking so little, or having so much that their weed would go "off." Just protect it from moisture (don't want it moulding) and it should last ages! I've heard of people smoking years old weed that they've found with no issues.

  6. Very long. I keep mine in a mason jar
