I just want to see my babies sprout up so I have something green to look at when I'm tending to my box. Wondering on average how many days it takes for a seed to sprout in soil? I'm currently at day 3, keeping the lights on 24/0
Did you germinate them? If so they should pop through within 24-36 hours on average I would say. This has good answers too though.
I always put some plastic wrap over the top of the cups to keep the soil moist and humidity up. Once you see the seed start popping up, take off the plastic and get a light fan blowing on them. Make sure you don't keep watering, get the soil moist once, cover them up or put them in a humidity dome until they are above soil. Usually with in a couple days of germing and seeing a taproot.
