How long is the shelflife of a seed??

  1. I am attempting my first grow!:hello:
I have some bagseeds of Silver haze from roughly 6-9 months ago. How long is the shelflife of seeds??

  2. Why not try to germinate them and find out? If stored correctly (cool, dark), seeds can last for a long time.

  3. a LOT longer than 6-9 months if stored properly, hell, stored shitty theyd still be fine after that short of time.

  4. Seeds have been found buried in the pyramids and have still proven to be viable. As long as the shell of the seed remains in good condition, the seed should be viable.

I agree though. Whay not try germinating one, or even better, just plant one.

    Good luck.

  5. Two years is fine. I tried some that were 5 years old - didn´t germinate properly.

  6. True, though they weren't MJ seeds ;)

Store seeds in a cool, dry, dark place and they can keep for years.
