How long in veg

    I have a few girls under a 1000w mh bulb currently my tent is only 6 feet high and I have 8 plants. I want to let them get as big as possible due to tr low amount of space. How far does my light have to be from the tops of the plants in flowering?

    How long should I leave them in veg to reach 4 footish in flowering?

    flip to flower when the plant(s) are 1/3 of the total size you want them to be

    use the "hand" method to test how close to put your light to the plant.. if its too hot for your hand.. its too hot for the plant

    I've always suggested vegging until the plant is mature..
    Flowering an immature plant will cause yield and potency to suffer....

    You can tell its mature when the fan leaves start to grow stagged, as opposed to growing directly across from each other.. In most strains, this usually takes place around the 6-7 week mark..

    Or you could grow autos let them decide when to flower.

    Nope under a 1000w hps
