How long does it take for the smell to go away?

Less than 30 seconds....

 

Dont even worry about it, smoke rises, it will be gone within minutes if not shorter. It disperses

On second thoughts, maybe that's dangerous for some.

 

You can smoke up to like a half hour before they get home and have time to do whatever you want really baked for a little while. Hell i used to smoke in my backyard 5min before my parents got home and they would never know.

 

I didnt know smoke could stick to the grass and shit. Where do you smoke that would be contained in a back yard? The smoke should just dissipate into the atmosphere and no one will know.

Take a shower before they comeback if its not a bong/water pipe or bubbler. Blunts, joints, pipes all make you stink. Blunts and joints are the worst. The smell doesnt just go away either thats why I said take a shower. At the very least wash your hands, wash your face, put on some new deoderant, brush your teeth, etc...

 

It depends on how you are smoking it. If you are smoking unfiltered (ex. bowl, joint, blunt, etc.), the smoke will stay longer and the smell will be strong in your neighbors yards. However, if you are smoking it filtered (bong, vaporizer, etc), the smell will go away very fast, as the smoke will contain less combusted plant matter (which is what gives weed smoke a strong smell similar to burning leaves)

Outside you don't even have to worry about a thing. It's always gone in the first minute. Just make sure your neighbors aren't outside because some jackasses will report you if they smell it. I got a notice from the police department on my door one time a couple years ago when I smoked outside, so I decided to stay in my garage.

Dude you're outside, why do you think people step OUTSIDE to smoke?

 

The smell will be on you if you use joints/blunts, or a bowl with a carb. The dankest smell is on your fingers. Use lotion or bug spray and that will mask it nicely without the suspicion. But the smell shouldn't stick around outside for more than a couple minutes.

When do ur parents come by and what time do u smoke? Last time my parents were on vacation and i smoked like half a bowl, a month later my parents walked in my backyard and were like "WTF DID U SMOKE HERE U SLUT?!?!" And i just said ya and lit up a joint and inhaled it through my butt. So make sure u have time for the smoke to go away
