How long do edibles take to kick in?

    So I just made some THC infused olive oil.

    Cooked it just under the boiling point for about an hour.
     
    Let it cook after I strained it.
     
    Then reintroduced the sludge to try and get the max THC content.

    I just used about an ounce of the stuff in my food.

    About how long until I start feeling effects, if any appear at all?

    Everyone is different but for me I start to feel it in my face after about 20 minutes with a peak around an hour or so.
