How long do edibles take to kick in?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Nabael, Jan 7, 2015.

  1. So I just made some THC infused olive oil.

Cooked it just under the boiling point for about an hour.

Let it cook after I strained it.

Then reintroduced the sludge to try and get the max THC content.

I just used about an ounce of the stuff in my food.

About how long until I start feeling effects, if any appear at all?

Did you decarb? To activate the thc it is necessary. Decarbing removes the carboxyl group so that it can fit into our THC receptors it changes THCA so it becomes THC. Cooking with a freeze in the middle helps the THC become more bio available.

    Decarb
220-250f for 20-30 minutes carefully wrapped in an aluminum foil pouch with the seal folded over 2x.

  3. Most people it takes half hour to an hour, I think. But for me it takes longer, usually like two hours. It also has to do with when you eat it, if your on an empty stomach, stuff like that
