How long can I keep Marijuana out before it "goes bad"

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by codyf, Apr 7, 2010.

  1. I have most of it rolled (7-8 j's) and its sitting in circulating air under my desk, the rest is in a little bag. How long before these joints go bad? I'm thinking about keeping them for almost a year and spacing them out, I'm trying not to smoke too much! thank you!

  2. Your best bet would be to put them in a mason jar. But why keep 8 Js for a year?

  3. just put them in an air tight container and they will never go bad. but honestly ive left bud out for a month or so and it dried up but it wasnt any less potent, so idk about the bud actually going bad but it does dry up

  4. Back in early Feb, I gave a joint or two to a friend and she let them sit out since yesterday when she smoked it. It gave her a pretty bad sore throat and she said it tasted like way too much paper but got high enough though. Best thing to do is keep them in some type of airtight container. Plastic baggy never hurts.

  5. If using plastic bags, wrap it many times. A mason jar is your best bet, though.

  6. Just put it in a mason jar, it will not go bad.

  7. I use a onion container you can buy them at Wall mart. The onion container might be a bit smaller then a mason jar.
