Hey guys, After some deliberation i've decided I might start a small little project for christmas. My question is, how long are seeds good for? Over the past year I've collected around 80+ bagseeds and was wondering what the seed shelf life is? Any Help would be appreciated.
Seeds found in pharaohs´ tombs after thousands of years have germinated. I have germinated MJ seeds 30 years old.
I'm not sure if you just keep it in a bag it'll be germable. If you put it in a ziplock bag with most of the excess air already out filled with seeds and then put it in a fridge I think you can keep the seeds germable for quite some times...
Hey thanks alot guys, I didn't think they would go bad, but I just wanted to check. I've been keeping them in an old Tic Tac container. Thats pretty airtight I think.
I keep mine in old photo film containers, little black ones. No light and into the fridge until they are needed.
