Hi all: I'm setting up a Blumat System and I'm trying to decide how big to build my water reservoir. I'm going to be running a cocoa or peat moss based supersoil mix, and and sharing the water reservoir between two tents, with one tent in veg and one tent in bloom. Each tent will have one plant in it -- so two plants total, one in veg, one in bloom, both sharing the same water supply. I am currently running 7 gallon fabric pots which is about as large as I foresee going. Basically, I'm wondering if I can get a reservoir large enough for me to leave the the country for ten days or so w/out running dry, rather than needing to have a friend to refill the reservoir half-way through. I was thinking/hoping a 15 gallon reservoir would be sufficient, but I'm really not sure since this is only my second grow and my first grow was 100% cocoa. I only plan to de-chlorinate the water and add an enzyme, so I believe there shouldn't be any issue w/ the water sitting in the reservoir for that extended period of time. I think it really just depends on how many gallons I need to budget for a week and a half away from my setup. What do you guys think? Would 15 gallons be sufficient water supply for a single plant in flower and single plant in veg for 10 days?
I just came across this Blumat thing. Have you used it yet? I’m trying to make my box a little more user friendly. And auto watering is my next step. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
