How Kong Does Flavor Last?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by 123burnthattree, May 23, 2014.

  1. My question is, while storing weed in glass jars, does the flavor ever disappear or maybe change and get better? Longest I've stored any was over 3 months. But it never had a pronounce flavor. So no difference was noticed.

  2. The bud will dry out over time. I highly recommend buying Boveda humidity control packets at the 62% (or somewhere in the 60s) and putting it in the jar with your bud. It'll stay consistently fresh!

  3. Is it just for growers? Or will it help bought weed

  4. It's designed to be placed in a container with your weed to keep it fresh, not to cure it. It's specifically for bought/already cured weed.

  5. I always thought it was to maintain humidity for curing. I will have to look into them. Is it foolproof or can ylu ruin things with them as well?

  6. With the 62% humidity it should be foolproof. It'll keep your bud light and fluffy.

  7. Thanks for the advice. How long do the packs stay good for?

  8. I want to say 3-6 months, but I'm not positive. Basically until they get hard and crunchy.

  9. So until the packs become hard and crunchy? And 3-6 months is decent amount of time.

  10. I've had some bud in quart sized jars with one of those 62% Boveda humidipacks for well over a year now and they're still maintaining the humidity. I've had only one go hard and crunchy after close to a year. If the jar stays full and you don't open it too often those packs will last a long time.
