Ok so my girlfriend calls me from school today telling me that for her senior picture they decided to paint their faces or something and take a picture of them all together or something. so she tells me afterwords the teacher gave her paint thinner to get it off and my girlfriend being very girly did. needless to say her face is chemically burned and she is at home after the doctor now. HOW THE HELL did that man get a teachers license. it was her art teacher that gave it to her. i dont understand how people can be so stupid. heres the lable on the can."Hazard: Danger! Vapor Harmful. WTF kinda paint did they use on their faces? I use paint thinner to get paint off my hands, but it's alcohol based sealer that you have to scrub with solvent to get off, even regular house paint (unless it's oil based) will come off with just soap and water. what kind of art teacher doesn't know that paint will come off with soap and water, and any paint that doesn't come off with soap and water should be nowhere near your face. I agree though, both are stupid.
Yeah Were they using Dutch Boy to paint their faces or a little kit from the costume shop? And even following a teacher's instructions I'd wonder, "Is it smart to rub turpentine all over my face?"
