  2. ph is very important. if it's not between 6.2 - 6.8 in soil, your plant will get sick and stunted.
     
  3. Plants can only uptake nutrients at certain pH levels. What that level is varies for different types of plants and also for each nutrient. In soil, the pH range of 6.4-6.8 is the "sweet spot" where MJ can uptake all of the needed nutrients. Fall outside that range and certain nutrients can no longer be taken by the plant, leading to nute deficiencies that definitely can stunt and kill a plant.
