hi guys, I just purchased a 600 watt led grow light from amazon. My seedlings are autoflower and are 7 days old. How high would I hang this light about them?
According to the amazon description, this light only uses 108 watts, not 600 watts The description also says to hang it 24 inches from the plants, but that doesn't apply to seedlings Hanging the light too close can kill seedlings Hanging it too far away will only temporarily stunt growth Err on the side of too high, then slowly reduce the distance over several days I'd hang that light at least 3-4 feet at first for seedlings If the light gets too close, it can bleach top leaves and harm plant health If the leaves right under the light become fainter in color than the rest, then you're too close
