How have YOUR highs changed since you started smoking?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by bluedreaming22, Oct 9, 2012.

  1. I hear all these stories about people smoking everyday for years and their highs have changed from getting blazed to just feeling a little relaxed? So how have your highs changed since you started smoking?

  2. The first thing that hits me with this.. I had been smoking for about 2 months and for a month or so after I would always get this face-feels-funny high. Well, that stopped, and then the highs turned into i can feel like a wave across my body as my heart beats. With lower tolerance, I think it just depends on what it is, like Dank or Mids.

  3. Yea after smoking everyday multiple times a day for the past year+ I can say I am just relaxed and no longer really get high. So that's why I have cut back to only a couple times a week

  4. They dont feel so crazy anymore, like as much of an adrenaline rush. Its just chill

  5. I can definitely get high still, it just takes more/ higher grade.

I'm a heavy daily smoker and I can always get high. Everyone can, don't bullshit. Except that in the beginning it was like a really intense mental rush, now its just a familiar sensation. Yeah, familiar would be accurate. :)

  7. When I started smoking it wouldnt do shit to me, this lasted for months, I only smoked socially. One day I finally got high and realized that I had been getting high all along although I never really got blazed. Well I started getting stupid stoned and eventually I got to where I could control myself better after a short while, lol. Then I began smoking only really high quality buds and really fell in love with green. Well then my highs became more of a spiritual thing, I only smoked occasionally and almost always by myself. Well I eventually had to take a six month T break because I moved into a sober household. Got bored of Judgemental people and moved back in with my stoner friends and began getting twisted again. Unfortunately I was arrested for fighting and had to take another six month t break. Well now I have gone back to ground zero and even shitty bud will get me stoned to the bone which is a plus although I'd rather smoke quality any day! But now I have the experience to control myself from getting stupid high but I still get there. My smoke seshs range from spiritual to social p recreationall and so on and so forth.

  8. I have to agree with Peruvian. Although I don't smoke now, there was a good 2-3 years where I smoked heavily and a few 6 or so month spans of smoking everyday. I always got high. Sometimes, especially if it was my 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. time smoking for the day, I wouldn't really feel anything except a slight lift from where I was, but the first or second smoke-up of the day I always got high. And yes, it was always weirdly familiar. Like I was suddenly continuing the high from the day before, in a way.

  9. At first I would get euphoric, giggly, cloudy headed and insanely aroused. My whole body felt super relaxed and heavy. Couldn't do anything math related and couln't hold a thought. I remember being afraid to answer the phone because I was so twisted.

Now I'm totally functional, probably in part because I'm more used to it and know what to expect each time. It's definitely dropped off on the intensity level though. My tolerance has probably tripled in the last month or so.

I'm gonna try some stronger stuff and see if I can recapture some of the original magic. I know a t-break would help, but that's a last resort since I need it for pain relief and sleep.

  10. Same as its ever been, but instead of being stoned for like 5 -6 hours from when I first started I'm only high for half an hour, stoned for the other half hour, and then just baked for 1 hour. So from lasting 5 hours, the high only lasts two hours or so for me now Back when I first started, I used to wake up the next morning still feeling a buzz.

  11. When i was younger and i first started smoking, getting high was just something i used to do to be looked at as cool or a badass .

But now Its alot more deeper then that when i get high now i get this sense of fulfillment i gotta baby on the way,i'm engaged to the women of my dreams,in my last year of college, with a good paying job and nice apartment. Getting high is like 1 million times better now than how it was when i first started toking im alot more relaxed and happy when i get high than how i was before :smoke:
