How fast can you make a plant flower without hurting it?

    Hello. My babies are currently at 18 hours of light and I need to get them to 12 hours ASAP. They are getting huge and I need to harvest

    As soon as the plant reaches sexual maturity.

    It takes minimum 7-8 weeks to flower and hrvest, if that's what you're wondering.

    What I'm asking is I'm on a 18 hour light cycle right now. When I go home can I just put them on 12 hours without working it down over time?

    Yes, there is no advantage in reducing the light in steps, change the cycle to 12/12 and start the flowering cycle.
