I have my room all set up and seedlings starting to pop. Started from seed in Jiffy pucks, they are a couple of days old under 24/7 of 1000 w MH. How close can I get the light without hurting it. Temps are 27 degrees Celsius under the light so I think temps are low enough. Also, whole room humidity is about 30%. Room is 8w X 10l X 8h Thanks for any advice.
no exp with a 1000w but i would imagine 1 - 2 feet. just make sure the canopy temp is good, ideally 76 but, say not past 80 - 85.
It's sitting around 2 feet from the canopy and room temps are around 80 f. I'm also wondering at what point I should turn on the 2nd 1000 w Mh light. Thanks for the help.
Nobody can tell me at what point all 2000w would start to benifit my plants? I have 5 plants at 6 days from seed. Thanks!
i think its a waste using 1000 Mh for 5/6 for veg your plants. you dont need 1000w Mh now. put them under 400 or 600 MH and use 1000 HPS for floration or use both MH and HPS. BTW i have 400 Mh to 6 plants and i have 3 feet from the tops and they have 6 days from seedlings but they already started to stretch too much.
I only have the 2 1000w lights do downsizing isn't an option but I could plant a few more seeds instead... I'm growing bag seed right now but I was thinking of buying a pack of seeds from our head shop. Thanks for the reply!
