how far can you smell a roasting bowl?

    Just out of interest, does anyone know how far away someone can smell someone smoking downwind? I looked up the average windspeed; it's about 10mph.

    Some people are more sensitive to smell than other so it really depends.  With no wind, I doubt you could smell it more than 12 feet away unless it's a blunt.

    Also depends on if you are smoking dank or reggie man. But I would assume you can smell it pretty far away

    normally i can smell it somewhere around 4-10m, away depending on what kind of weed they smoke.

    It all depends man. I've smoked 3 feet away from someone and they didn't smell it because the wind was bringing it straight up. I've smelled people burning one nearby, and there was nobody anywhere nearby.

    Depends on the smoked items and air flow.

    Quite far actually. If wind blows towards them, you can easily smell it down the street. If you can see the smoke, they can smell it (but don't assume the opposite)
