How Far Above Your Plants Should A T5 Be?

You should light only one or two bulbs and keep them at least 6-8 inches away while the plant is that small. As it develops more leaves, you can turn more bulbs on and move the light closer.

 

Haha. Yeah, its kinda overkill. I'd just move it back 10-12 inches and you'll be fine.

 

I like my plants to be a little warm under a fluro ..... 5-6 inches, up to 8" as said above is a good range to put the seedlings at.
